Back to work in 12 weeks, not 50
CUTI re-integrates people into the workforce with training that ends in a paid practicum and a real job — not another certificate for the drawer.
The math that matters
People stay on unemployment benefits for a typical 50-week spell. CUTI students start earning within about 12.
The practicum is paid throughout. Full-time employment follows at a higher rate. Graduates move off government support, earn a living wage, and pay taxes again.
For people outside the traditional workforce
Our accelerated programs are designed for people the job market overlooks. No prior experience is required for most of our programs.
- Unemployed workers changing industries
- People with disabilities
- Low-income earners moving into higher-paying trades
- Newcomers and refugees restarting their careers
Train while you wait
Waiting on a work permit or status decision? You can still train.
CUTI trains people whose work status is still in process. The moment the government approves you to work, a job is waiting — your first North American experience without losing a year. One example: we integrated a wave of displaced Ukrainian immigrants into our programs and into the workforce.
